Qualifications: Post graduation in any branch of Life Sciences with specialization in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Marine Microbiology/ Environmental Sciences/ Molecular Biology, etc.
The candidate must have done his/her B. Sc/ M. Sc/ B. Tech/ M. Tech project/ dissertation work in Environmental Microbiology/ Molecular Biology (gene expression/ cloning related work)/ Natural product isolation.
Project tenure: Three years
Salary: Rs. 25000 per month.
The Institution shall review the performance of JRF after two years through an appropriate Review Committee constituted by the Head of the Institution. The fellow may be awarded SRF after successful assessment by the Review Committee
Note: Based on their performance in the first year, selected candidates will be encouraged to register for their Ph D program at the Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai- 600 116.
