Walk-in-Interview for the position of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs), Field Assistant (FA) & Project Assistant (PA) as per detail given below purely on contractual basis will be held on 28.06.2017 (For Sl.No.01 to 04) & 29.06.2017 ( For Sl.No.05to 09)at 10:00 a.m. to onwards in the Board Room of FRI Main Building, P.O. New Forest, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun – 248006. The interested and eligible candidates must bring the copy of bio-data along with recent passport size photograph, self attested copies of all educational certificates and relevant documents for submission to the office of Group Coordinator Research (RCS), P.O.New Forest, FRI, Dehradun (Uttarakhand). No separate letter will be issued for attending the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview

05. Project Assistant / G&TP/ Dr.M.S.Bhandari, Scientist-C 

Clonal propagation of newly developed superior hybrids/ genotypes of Eucalypts and their deployment in the Field (Phase-III) funded by ICFRE 

Essential Qualification: B.Sc. with minimum of second class in science with under mentioned discipline (Agriculture/ (CBZ/ Biotechnology / Forestry)

06 Junior Research Fellow/ G&TP/ Dr. Santan Barthwal, Scientist-E 

Molecular Mechanism of Rhizome Growth and Development in Dendrocalamus strictus. funded by ICFRE 

Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology or Plant Physiology or Forestry with specialization in Molecular biology work 

Desirable Qualification : The Candidates should have laboratory experience of molecular biology, bioinformatics transcriptome analysis on growth and development of plants.

Evaluaion of Germplasm and Transcriptome studies in Eucalypts for water logging and Salinity funded by ICFRE 

Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology or Plant Physiology or Forestry with specialization in Molecular biology work 

Desirable Qualification : The Candidates should have laboratory experience of molecular biology, bioinformatics transcriptome analysis on abiotic stress tolerance.

Characterization of the Hill Bamboo Species (Ringal) of the NorthWestern Himalayas for their Conservation and Genetic Improvement funded by ICFRE 

Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology or Plant Genetics or Forestry with specialization in plant biotechnology / genetics./ Life Science 

Desirable Qualification : The Candidates should have laboratory experience of molecular marker techniques and well versed with softwares of population genetics.
