Walk- in- Test cum Interview for the selection of Young Professionals II under the Network Project
on Agricultural Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (CABin scheme) will be held at this Institute as
per details indicated below.

Qualifications :
1) Young Professional II (Molecular Biology)
Essential:
Masters Degree in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Life Science
with
Bachelors’ degree in any Life Science subjects
Desirable:
Experience in Molecular Biology work and Bioinformatics analysis
b) Young Professional II (Bioinformatics)
Essential:
Masters Degree in Bioinformatics
with
Bachelors’ degree in any Life Science subjects
Desirable:
Familiarity with advanced computational methods and programming
languages.
Experience in Molecular Biology (wet lab) work
Emoluments : Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age limit : 21 - 45 years as on date of interview (05 years relaxation for SC/ST/ Women
Candidates and 03 Years for OBC candidates).
Duration of Project : Up to September2017 ( likely to be extended up to March 2020,
subject to the clearance of a new scheme under CABin ).
Nature of work: The molecular biologist with experience in bioinformatics/ bioinformatician with
experience in molecular biology to work on analysis of transcriptome and other sequence data and to
conduct molecular biology experiments including proteomics.
