AU Medicinal Plants Evaluation JRF Walk IN 2017 July


DEPARTMENT OF LIFE SCIENCE AND BIOINFORMATICS 
ASSAM UNIVERSITY: SILCHAR 

Applicants are invited to appear in a walk-in-interview for 1 (one) post of Junior Research Fellow in the DBT (GOI) funded project entitled “Investigating the molecular basis of the anti-parkinsonian effects of Garcinol-a phytoconstituent of Garcinia sp. in animal model of Parkinson’s disease” for a period of two (02) years (may be extended by 1 year). 

Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Life Science (Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Neuroscience) or allied disciplines from a recognized Institute/ University with at least 60% of marks. 

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in phytochemical screening from medicinal plants. 

Fellowship: As per DBT, Govt. of India Interested candidates are requested to appear with filled in application in the prescribed format (given bellow) along with original certificates, mark sheets and other relevant documents. 

Date of Interview: 25 th July 2017 Time: 2.00 pm 

Venue: Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics, Assam University, Silchar 

Note: The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. 

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
