I. Essential Qualifications for JRF:

•       Project 1: M.Sc. in Plant Physiology / Plant Biochemistry / Plant breeding with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

•       Project 2: M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Sericulture (with molecular biology background) with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

II. Desirable qualifications for JRF

•       Experience in Plant physiology, biochemical characterization and molecular markers (For Project 1).

•       Working knowledge on DNA based markers (For Project 2).

III. Emoluments:

1. JRF: Rs.12000/- per month (Likely to be enhanced) + HRA as per Central Silk Board (CSB) rules (For Project 1 & 2).

Date: For Project 1- 20th July 2017

          For Project 2- 21st July 2017
