Walk-in-Interview
Applications are invited for a Walk-in-Interview of One (01) temporary position of Senior
Research Fellow (SRF) in a DST-SERB sponsored research project entitled “Cloning,
Expression and Structural Characterization of Anti-Thrombin From Cattle Tick Salivary
Gland : Designing of Novel Anti-Thrombin Peptide ” under Principal Investigator Dr. Robin
Doley, Associate Professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT),
Tezpur University. If no suitable candidate is found for SRF position then JRF candidate
will be considered.
Qualification for JRF: Candidate must have post-graduate degree in Molecular Biology/
Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with NET/DBTJRF/ICAR-JRF/GATE
qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET.
Qualification for SRF: Candidates with qualification prescribed for JRF and two (02) years of
research experience.
Duration: The appointment will be for a period of 11 (Eleven) months or till completion of the
project, whichever is earlier.
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- only per month for JRF and Rs. 28,000/-only per month for SRF and
admissible HRA.
Age: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview for the
position of JRF and 32 years in the case of SRF. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per the
Government of India Rules.
Date and Venue of Interview: 01 August, 2017 (Tuesday) at 11.00 A.M in the Department of
Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBBT), Tezpur University, Nappam, Assam
