NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application for the position of “Junior Research Fellow (Project)” in DBT funded project entitled “CRISPRI system: A toolbox to investigate novel regulatory mechanisms of synapse formation by long noncoing RNAs”. Interested candidates fulfilling the following requirement can submit duly filled in application as per attached format and bio-data alongwith self- attested copies of certificates in support of their qualifications and experience latest by 22 nd September, 2017 to “The Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Nainwal Mode, Gurgaon-122 051 (Haryana)”: 

Junior Research Fellow (Project) 

Essential Qualification 

 M. Sc. in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences 60% and above marks from matriculation onwards 

Eligibility Criteria 

 Candidate qualified any National Eligibility Test (NET). 

 NETs include CSIR-UGC NET including LS category, ICMRJRF, GATE, JAM, GPAT, JEST, Biotechnology Eligibly Test and test conducted in Bioinformatics by Bioinformatics National Consortium and Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS) 

Desirable Qualification 

Experience in Cell culture methods or next generation sequencing data analysis or CRISPR based genome editing Fellowship 

 25,000/- pm + HRA (No other allowances are applicable)

Tenure 

The tenure will be for a period of one year initially and may be extended on performance review. The post is co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates should abide by the rules and regulations of NBRC. 

Accommodation 

Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC and as per availability in the Hostel at NBRC Campus, Manesar. 

Note : * No TA / DA will be payable to the candidates for attending the interview.
