Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at a monthly salary
of Rs. 25,000/- + 20% HRA for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- + 20% HRA for third year
(as per University rules) under The Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of
Biotechnology (DBT), New Delhi sanctioned research project entitled “Effect of different
arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal isolates on heavy metal uptake, growth and productivity
in Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp. genotypes grown under cadmium (Cd) stress” under my
supervision w.e.f., July, 2017. The tenure of the project is three years.
The application on plain paper giving detailed biodata alongwith attested copies of the
testimonials should reach the undersigned by September 22, 2017 by 5:00 pm.
The interview shall be held in the office of the Chairman, Department of Botany,
Panjab University, Chandigarh and the date of interview will be intimated to the
candidates. No T.A. & D.A. are permissible for attending the interview. The rules and
regulations as laid down by Panjab University and/or DBT, New Delhi will be applicable to
the selected candidate.
Qualifications:
The candidate should be M.Sc. in Botany with at least 55% marks. Preference will be given
to NET/SLET/Ph.D. (PU) entrance qualified candidates.

8,000/- (fixed) under The Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology
