Walk-in-interview for Technical Manpower (Young professional-ΙΙ)- (02 post) at the
conference hall of ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, for ICAR-Indian
Agricultural Statistic Research Institute-sponsored project Under CABin scheme titled
“Computational and Molecular approach to delineate metabolic pathways for better
carbohydrate utilization in Labeo species” will be held on 13
th
October, 2017 at 10:30
hrs.
Interested and eligible candidates of Indian national are required to attend the interview
along with 5 copies bio-data and desired testimonials as specified wherever required. The
appointment will be on contractual/temporary basis up to 31st March, 2020. Initial
appointment will be for six months; which will be extended further based on the satisfactory
performance of the candidate.
Technical Manpower (Young professional-ΙΙ): 02 posts (01 post
Biotechnology/Biochemistry and 01 post Bioinformatics)
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Bioscience (Zoology)/
Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology with aggregate 60% of marks.
Desirable qualification: 1 to 2 year working experience in field of molecular biology,
biotechnology and bioinformatics research.
Upper age limit:
For technical manpower (Young professional-ΙΙ) lower and upper age limits are 21 years and
45 years, respectively.
Relaxation of age to ST/SC/OBC and PH candidates will be as per
rules.
Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- per month (fixed)
How to apply:
The post is tenable until the tenure of the project. The position is purely temporary and the
candidates will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the institute
Emoluments will be as per rules of ICAR. Interested candidates should bring their detailed
resume (5 copies) along with two recent passport size photographs and one copy of selfattested
proof of age at the time of interview. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form
shall lead to disqualification or regarding. No. TA/DA will be paid for attending the
interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates will be final and
no correspondence will be entertained in this regards.
