LIST OF SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES FOR INTERVIEW
The screening committee has maintained the following criteria for screening of the students
who are called for interview at CSIR-IICB.
Fellowship is Mandatory such as CSIR/UGC/NET-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, RGNF, DBT/ICMRJRF
excluding GPAT and GATE.
Age: as per CSIR guidelines.
Master’s degree in relevant areas of science excluding Mathematics, Physics, Inorganic
Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Anthropology, Ecology & Environmental Biology, Forensic,
Pharmaceutics, Agriculture and Fisheries with 60% marks or CGPA (3/5 or 6/10). B.Tech or
Equivalent degree/M.Tech candidates with a valid Fellowship is also eligible. Relaxation of
Marks for SC/ST and OBC candidates was set at 50% for Master’s Degree (Separate list
attached-Table B).
For Project Assistants: 2 years of research experience in CSIR-IICB and 1 publication.
