IIIM Invites MSc/MPharm/MTech/BPharm/BTech/BSc for Training/Dissertation Program 2017 | helpBIOTECH Exclusive


Applications are invited for pursuing training/dissertation programme at CSIR-IIIM from the students pursuing M.Sc / M.Pharm/ M.Tech/ B.Pharm/ B.Tech/ B.Sc  in any branch of Life Sciences/ Biological Sciences from Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges to carry out their project in the areas –

v  cGMP Herbal Drug Formulation
v  Industrial Microbiology /Biotechnology
v  Fermentation Technology
v  Herbal Drug Pilot Plant
v  Quality Control/ Quality Assurance
The terms and conditions for the training/dissertation programme are given below:

1.    The students must have passed all examinations starting from secondary school examination in first division or equivalent grade (at least 55% of marks).
2.    A non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000/- per month will be payable for the training/dissertation programme.
3.    Applications shall also be accepted for dissertation with duration from 6 months to 1 year based on availability.
4.    The students will not be entitled to any remuneration, stipend or fellowship/ assistance in any form during the project period.
5.    The students will have to make their own local arrangements for stay and other logistics. Hostel facility may be provided on separate payment basis with prior request.
6.    The students will abide by the conduct & rules applicable to the scholars/ employees of CSIR-IIIM.

In addition to laboratory training, students will be exposed to information about practical applications, scientific ethics and good laboratory practices in life sciences. At the end of the training, students are required to present their work to the scientific community and make a proper report and submit it to CSIR-IIIM.

List of the students selected will be displayed on the website of the CSIR-IIIM by 18th December, 2017 and the students will have to give their acceptance by 22nd December, 2017.
