Minimum educational
Qualification
MSc in Bioinformatics with two years of experience in
software development and web server creation and
maintenance
Preference will be given to candidates with sound knowledge
of structural biology. The candidate must be proficient at
computer programming (preferably Python, C++, C
programming). Additionally, the candidate should have
advanced knowledge of MySQL / Oracle and be comfortable
working with Linux and Unix platforms.
Job requirements Creating, Maintaining and Administering several software
pipelines and web server in the general area of structural
biology. The candidate should be able to communicate
clearly. Additional duties may involve systems administration
and interfacing between the equipment manufacturers and
system integrators.
Tenure of the appointment Upto March 31, 2018
Consolidated emoluments Starting from Rs. 16,000 + 30% HRA per month or Rs. 25,000
+ 30% HRA per month based on academic qualification with
CSIR-NET or equivalent examinations.
Age Not more than 30 years as on closing date of advertisement
