Walk-in-interview for the following contractual position will be held on 30.01.2018 at the Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi 

ICAR funded Project on “Computational Biology and Agricultural Bioinformatics (Maize Sub Project).” 

Young Professional II One 

Rs. 25000 Consolidated 

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Genetics/ Plant breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Botany/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Equivalent degree 

Desirable Qualification: Experience in applications of SNPs, gene expression assays, high throughput marker data generation, bioinformatics tools in crops 

Terms & Conditions 

Age limit: Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC as per ICAR guidelines. 

(i) The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially upto 31st March 2018, which may be extended periodically subjected to performance or till the termination of the project. 
(ii) The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
(iii) The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 30-01-2018 at 10.00 A. M. in the office of Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012. Reporting time: 9:30 AM on 30-01- 2018. 
(iv) The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, self attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and recent passport size photograph. The original degree of Master of Science or provisional is essentially to be brought while attending the interview, failing which candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview. 
(v) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. 
(vi) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
