Title of the Project: Characterization and Genetic Diversity of Bartonella Bacteria in Small Animals 

Junior Research Fellow (One) 

Duration of Project: Two years. The appointment of JRF will be on temporary basis for a period of one year. Based on performance in the first year, the appointment could be extended year-by-year till the end of project. The position will be co-terminus with the project. 

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences or M. Tech. Biotechnology with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. 

Desirable Qualification: Candidates who have qualified any of the national level test like CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE etc. 

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in genotyping, phylogeny, animal handling etc. having evidenced experience in terms of publications in Protein Purification/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/ recombinant DNA Technology will be given the preference. 

Age: Upper age limit is 35 years 

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA per month 

Mode of Selection: Walk-in-Interview 

Venue: Principal’s Office, APJ Abdul Kalam Building, VSU College, Kakutur
