Walk in interview for the posts of Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Helpers (Unreserved) Two posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and two posts of Skilled Helper are available in the Division of Genetics in various ICAR and DBT funded projects purely on contractual basis (as indicated below). The interview will be held on 24th January 2018 at 10.00 AM at Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110 012. S. 

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in ICAR Funded project entitled “CRP Molecular breeding for improvement of tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, yield and quality traits in crops (Rice)”. One 

Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/ 27/ 2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015 

Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/ Life Science with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D. in any of above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015) Desirable:Experience in molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills . Date: 24th January, 2018.

2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in DBT Funded project entitled “Incorporation of biotic stress resistance gene(s) into the genetic background of Pusa Basmati 1509 through Marker assisted backcross breeding (MABB)”. One 

Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/ 27/ 2014/ HRD Dated 09.10.2015) 

Essential: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Science with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Rs. 11,000/-per month consolidated Essential: 10th or equivalent from recognized board 

Desirable: Experience in field and lab work related to agriculture especially in rice Date: 24th January, 2018.
