Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology,
Mi nistry of Science & Technology, Government of India is an emerging multidisciplinary Institute engaged
in advanced research invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following post in the DBT
funded extramural project “Structural characterization of White Spot Syndrome Viral enzymes
involved in viral nucleotide synthesis”.
Name of the position: Senior Research Fellow; 01 No
Fellowship: (As per DBT guidelines) Rs.28,000 per month + @ 20% HRA
Age Limit: The upper age limit of the candidate will be 32 years, as on 16.02.2018. Age relaxation will be
given to the candidates as per Government rules.
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with minimum two years of research experience after completing
M.Sc. Candidates with publication and experience working in the area of protein crystallography /
biophysics / biochemistry will be given preference.
Candidates should have qualified any of the national
eligibility tests prescribed by DBT (http://www.dbtindia.nic.in/revised-fellowship-for-jrfsrfra-in-dbtfunded-projects/).

the project (January 2021). Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be
paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates will be
final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
