Educational Qualifications:
Research Associate: Candidate for position of RA should be Ph.D in Immunology and
preferably having experience in the field of tuberculosis research.
Senior Research Fellow (Project): Candidate for position of SRF should be having Master’s
degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry and minimum of two years of experience in
Immunology lab.
Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute
Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience
Research Associate: Rs. 36,000/- per month plus 30% HRA
Senior Research Fellow (Project): Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% HRA

Job description & Desired Knowledge: Standardization of M.tb infection in TCRβ−/− mice and
examine the involvement of macrophages in pathogenesis of TB-IRIS. To carry out gene
expression profiling of M.tb-infected TCRβ−/− mouse macrophages in the presence or absence
of CD4+ T cells and to elucidate the underlying molecular pathways. Validation of microarray
data with qRT-PCR and functional assays.
