Advertisement for following assignment in a time bound research project undertaken in the
Department of Life Science (LS).
1. Name of the Temporary Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01.
2. Name of the Research Project:
“Drosophila sensory organs: A model to access
molecular mechanism of metallic nanoparticles”
3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: Department of Biotechnology, India.
4. Tenure of the Project: 3 years. (Jan 2018 to Jan 2021)
5. Tenure of the Assignment: Extendable annually till completion of project,
subject to satisfactory performance.
6. Job Description: Research work related to project.
7. Consolidated monthly
compensation / Fellowship:
With GATE/NET qualification:
Rs. 25,000/- per month (1
st and 2nd year)
Rs. 28,000/- per month (3rd year)
8. Essential Qualifications and
experience:
M.Sc. in any field of Biology with 65 % marks
or above; NET/GATE qualified.
9. Desirable Qualifications /
Experiences :
NET/GATE qualified, NET-JRF or Higher
GATE score will be preferred.
10. Accommodation: Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be
provided subject to availability.
