Essential Qualification (JRF):
Master degree in Zoology/ Environmental Science/ Wildlife
Science/ Life Sciences with Zoology as a major subject in
undergraduate/post graduate course from a recognized
University with minimum of 60% marks.
Essential Qualification (FA): B.Sc. with Zoology as one of the subjects from a recognized
University with minimum of 60% marks.
Desirable (JRF/FA): Research experience in taxonomy, systematics, zoology or
allied subject, field survey experience in wildlife, wildlife
photography, knowledge of Computer and basic field data
collection.
Fellowship (JRF): Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA (NET/GATE qualified) per month
for the initial two years and in third year Rs 28,000/- plus
16% HRA. In case of Non-NET qualified, fellowship of
Rs.16000/- plus 16% HRA per month for first two years and
Rs.18,000/- plus 16% HRA will be provided.
Remuneration for Field Assistant: Rs.8000/- (consolidated) per month.
