Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (JRF) for Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, sponsored project at SPP School of Pharmacy & Technology Management, SVKM’s NMIMS, Mumbai.

Fellowship: Rs. 28000/month +30% HRA pm

Eligibility: M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry). M.SC in Life Sciences with 2 years Research experience 

GATE or equivalent examination/ NET qualified candidates will be preferred and those who have research experience of 2 years in Purification of natural products/ Cell culture/ Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/HPLC will be given preference. Animal handling would be an asset. Candidate should be willing to travel for sample collection along the Maharashtra coastal regions.

Project Title: “Isolation, Characterization and Evaluation of Anti-Inflammatory Compounds Isolated From Marine Sponges of Maharashtra Coastal Regions” 

Duration of Project: 01 Year

During this period, the candidate may join a Ph.D. programme in the university, subject to availability of seats and fulfillment of other essential criteria as per rule.

1. Position in mentioned project is purely temporary, for the period of duration till 2019.
2. If performance of candidate will not be found satisfactory, position can be terminated with one month of prior notice.
