LEPRA Society has state of the art research wing- Blue Peter Public Health and Research Centre (BPHRC) with three main operational areas designated as – clinical and lab services, clinical and epidemiological research and laboratory research. BPHRC is recognized as SIRO, Dept. Of science and tech, GOI and accredited to the MoH, RNTCP as a MDR TB referral laboratory for culture and molecular testing. The center is a well reputed research organization with well-equipped laboratory facility for microbiology, immunology and histopathology. 

 LEPRA Society is implementing a IMCR project titled “ Anti-microbial peptides (bacteriocins) as alternative to conventional antimicrobial agents – a novel interventional study for treating infected plantar ulcers in leprosy and diabetes" 

Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for the following positions 

Project duration: Three years 

Location: BPHRC, Cherlapally, Hyderabad 

2. Project Technical Officer

Qualification 

1.Masters in biostatistics/ mathematics(with biostatistics) 

2. Masters in life sciences/pharmacy with expertise in biostatistics 

Experience- Three years’ experience in scientific data management and analysis, scientific writing / technical reports evidenced by scientific publications, documentation 

Age limit : Not exceeding 30 yrs ( Preferably) 

Responsibilities 

• Creation, Filing , maintenance of study subject inclusion forms and other relevant forms. 

• Scientific data management and analysis; scientific writing 

• Maintenance of project database 

• Statistical analysis 

• Fulfill other project related work that arise at time to time 

 Rs.32,000 (CTC)
