Applications are invited from highly motivated and dynamic eligible candidate to work in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, funded sponsored research project entitled “Autosomal and Mitochondrial DNA perspectives of Dravidian SC/ST Populations in Tamil Nadu, south India”.
Principal investigator: Dr. Krishnaveni Arumugam, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology.

Age limit 28 Years

Tenure Three years / Co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier
Emoluments:
Rs.25000/- Consolidated (First Two Years as JRF);
Rs.28000/- Consolidated (Third year if upgraded as SRF as per by DST, New Delhi / Institutional norms). No HRA is admissible.
1. The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance, till the end of the project. However, the initial engagement shall be for a period of one year on consolidated salary.

3. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark-sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview. A set of photocopy of all the testimonials must be submitted at the time of interview.
4. Candidate must bring with him/her the signed hard copy of the duly filled application form.
5. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communication in this regard will be entertained.
6. The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.
7. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
8. A set of photocopy of the entire testimonial must be submitted at the time of interview.
9. The last date for applications is 30th April.
