NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC), Manesar-122051, Gurgaon, invites
applications for two positions of Research Associate (Project) under DBT funded Unit of Excellence
(UOE) in Cancer Biology Project entitled “Inflammation regulated metabolic reprogramming:
Implications in tumor progression”.
Interested candidates fulfilling the following requirement can submit duly filled in application as per

Essential Qualification
Ph.D. in Life Sciences
With expertise in cellular signalling in the context of immune
regulation / metabolism / inflammation as evidenced through high
quality publication in the area.
Post-doctoral experience in the aforesaid areas will be preferred.
Position -1
Documented proof demonstrating expertise in cytokine driven
signalling and cloning is a pre-requisite. Experience in in vivo animal
model is required
Position -2
Documented proof demonstrating expertise in signalling especially
in the context of metabolism or inflammatory responses is essential.
Mandatory Requirement
The focus of the project will be to unravel the link between
metabolic-inflammation network in glioblastoma. A Statement of
Purpose (SoP) should accompany the application, without which
the application will not be considered. The SOP is a critical
document that must state clearly and specifically the relationship
between the applicant's interests and the research objectives of the
lab.

Tenure The tenure will be for a period of one year initially, extendable on
performance review. The post is co-terminus with the project.
