Applications are invited for position of JRF (2 posts) in Department of Science and
Technology (DST) Project entitled “Identification, Barcoding of Palani Hills
Basidiomycetes fungi and mycosysynthesis of biodegradable packing material alternate to
styrofoam’’ under Dr. A. Usha Raja Nanthini, Associate Professor and Head, Department of
Biotechnology, Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal.
Qualification:
M.Sc. degree in Botany /Plant Science/Biotechnology/Microbiology and other
relevant subjects with 55 % marks for general and OBC (50% for SC/ST candidates)
categories of candidates from any recognized University and CSIR/ UGC NET qualification
will be preferred.
Tenure:
3 Years
Age Limit:
Below 28 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
b:
Rs. 25,000 /- p.m fixed + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 28,000/- p.m + HRA for
3
rd year (candidate with desirable PG degree with NET qualification).
In case of non availability of qualified NET candidate, candidate having M.Sc degree
in above subjects may be considered for Junior Research Fellow with emoluments
Rs.16,000/- (fixed)p.m +HRA.
Note : No T.A is admissible for attending walk in interview on 30.05.2018.
