Applications are invited for the position of one Junior Research fellow (JRF) for the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India sponsored research project titled “Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome protein (WASp) mediated epigenetic regulation of T helper (Th) cell differentiation linked to malignancies through R-loop modulation’’ tenable at SRM Research Institute (SRM-RI), SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Tamilnadu-603203, India for 2 years.

Minimum qualification: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA; CSIR/ UGC/ ICMR/ NET/ GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.

Candidates with good academic record, skills in the general technique used in biology (cell culture, DNA isolation, RNA isolation, realtime PCR, Co-immunoprecipitation, Western blot) and excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are desirable.

Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate can register for their Ph.D. at SRM Institute of Science and Technology

Amount of fellowship:

For NET/GATE qualified candidates: Rs 25,000 + 20% HRA.

For others: Rs 16,000 + 20% HRA.
