Interested candidates may attend the Walk in Interview to be held on 27.06.2018 at 11.00 am in the Department of Horticulture, North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Chasingre-794 002 for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a period of 2 years under Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India sponsored research project under “DBT’s Program for the NE” entitled “Characterization of high value phytochemicals of anti-diabetic and immunomodulatory properties in North Eastern banana varieties”.
Fellowship @ Rs. 25,000/- + 10 % HRA for the 1st and 2nd Year with NET qualification Fellowship @ Rs. 12,000/- + 10 % HRA for the 1st and 2nd Year without NET qualification
1st Class Post Graduate in Horticulture/Agriculture/ Biochemistry/Botany/Biotechnology/Biology with NET qualification / Ph. D. in
these subjects.
Candidates with experience of Extraction and Isolation of phytochemicals work and NET qualification will be given preference
The candidate should bring signed application with bio-data along with contact details and original as well as attested copies of supporting documents at the time of interview.
The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Duration of the Project: 3 years (up to 31st March, 2021)
No TA/DA will be provided for candidates for appearing for the interview.
