6 MPTD 1 1 post UR Level-11 ₹67700- 208700 Scientist 

32yrs 

M.Tech/MS in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetic Engineering OR M.Sc and Ph.D in Molecular Biology/Systems Biology or relevant area (submitted). 

1 year experience in molecular biology, genomics and proteomics and metabolic engineering , handling of bioinformatics tools relevant to the subject, knowledge on gene regulation concepts and signal transduction

The selected candidate will have to work on cell factory optimisations. The work involves targeted gene/protein engg. through genetic modifications of the organisms directed towards microbial process development.

7 MPTD 2 1 post UR Level-12 ₹78800- 209200 Senior Scientist 

37yrs 

M.Tech/MS in Biotechnology/ Industrial Microbiology with 3 years experience OR M.Sc and Ph.D in relevant area with 2 years Post Doctoral/ Industrial Experience. 

Experience in fermentation process development using bacteria, fungi, yeast and actinomycete systems, operations of bio reactors, fermentation monitoring , analysis of metabolites using sophisticated instrumentation. Down-stream process development. Knowledge on product development and industrial experience. 

Selected candidate will have to work on fermentation process development (both upstream and downstream processes) for microbial products and metabolites including enzymes, bioactives , biopolymers etc., The work involves the process optimisation, product separation, purification and formulations and use of analytical tools and equipments including HPLC, GC, Mass Spectroscopy, IR Spectroscopy, Spectrophotometry etc
