A walk-in-interview will be held for the selection of a JRF for a research project entitled
“Cognitive-immuno cross talk in a streptozotocin-induced rat model of Alzheimer’s
disease” and funded by DST, Govt. of India on 11th July, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the office of
the Secretary, Faculty Council for PG Studies in Science, University of Calcutta, 92 APC
Road, Kolkata – 700009. The research project will be conducted for 3 years under Prof.
Tusharkanti Ghosh (PI) and Prof. Debasish Bandopadhyay (CO-PI) in the Dept of
Physiology, University of Calcutta.
Required Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Physiology/Zoology/Neuroscience from
a recognized university with NET qualification.
Preference will be given to the candidate
having experience in stereotaxic technique, animal behavior and glial cell culture.
Remuneration: As per DST, Govt. of India.
The candidate should bring two separate sets of completer application furnishing bio data
on plain paper along with attested copies of testimonials on the date of interview. The
original certificate, testimonials and mark sheets are to be presented before the selection
committee on the date of interview.
