Yenepoya Proteomics/Drug Screening SRF/Technician Openings | Yenepoya Recruits @ helpBIOTECH

SRF and Technician positions at Center for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine, Yenepoya Research Centre, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore

The Center for Systems Biology and Molecular Medicine (CSBMM; http://csbmm.yenepoya.edu.in) at Yenepoya Research Centre is established to investigate molecular underpinnings of complex life conditions including growth, metabolism, human diseases, host-pathogen interactions, response to therapy and healing, molecular targets of drugs including traditional medicines and drug resistance. The dynamic team composed of mass spectrometrists, molecular biologists, data curators, programmers and clinicians work within the frameworks of ‘molecularizing’ various aspects of biology.

Positions available: one Senior Research Fellow and one Research Technician

Research Project:  India-Norway-Sweden-Germany collaborative research project on “Discovering new therapeutic targets and drugs to combat AMR tuberculosis: proteomics characterization and drug screening of mycobacterium - infected macrophages”.

Both SRF and Research Technician will have opportunities to learn and carry out several proteomic and functional proteomic experiments using high-resolution mass spectrometry platforms. They will also be trained in proteomic data analysis and bioinformatics tools.
