A walk-in interview will be held for the position of Senior Research Assistant to work in a Department of Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal funded project titled ‘Potential application of cyanobacteria to reduce bioavailability of arsenic in rice field: a step ahead for safe rice grain’.
The project aims to develop novel technologies for reducing bioavailability of arsenic in rice fields of West Bengal. The project position will be initially for a period of one year but could be extended by one more year subject to satisfactory performance.
Essential qualifications: Highly motivated candidates with M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Botany/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Environmental Sciences with minimum 55% marks can apply for the position of Senior Research Assistant.
Research experience is highly desirable. The salary will be Rs 18700 per month (consolidated) as per the rules.
