A walk-in interview to fill the post of Junior Research Fellow to join a time-bound research programme on "Management of destructive invasive alien species in the High Range Mountain Landscape of Munnar in the Western Ghats of Kerala" will be held at 10.00 am onward on 11th July 2018 at KFRI. No. of post: Two
Essential qualification: First Class Master’s Degree in Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences.
Desirable:
1. Research experience in field of forestry/invasion biology.
or
2. Experience in molecular biology techniques including DNA barcoding of plants and animals and
3. Experience in extensive field work in forest areas.
Fellowship: For Net qualified candidates: Rs.25,000/- +10% HRA per month for 2 year and 28000/- + 10% HRA in 3rd year
Others: Rs 16000/- +10% HRA per month for first two years and Rs. 18000/- +10% HRA in 3rd year.
Duration : One year (may be extended further two years based on performance)
Age: As on 01.01.2018, 35 years (those who are born on or after 01.01.1983). Age relaxation of five years in the case of scheduled caste/scheduled tribe candidates and three years in the case of other backward communities as per government rules will be given.
