RGCB RA Vacancy to Work at Kazhakootam, Guwahati

RGCB is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to work in a DBT funded North East Twining Programme, focused on biological evaluation of diverse imaging molecules using advanced imaging techniques in cellular and animal models. 

SITE OF WORK Cancer research Programme, KINFRA Campus, Kazhakootam and North East India (Guwahati) 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE PhD in Microbiology / Life sciences Two years of Post-Doctoral Research Experience in cell biology and diverse imaging platforms such as automated microscopy, HTS imager, Confocal Imaging. Experience in advanced imaging techniques such as FRET, life time imaging, SR imaging. The candidates must show initiative, willingness to take up new skills and responsibilities and be a team player. The candidate must be self-motivated, able to multi task and to work within a very collaborative environment both at RGCB and IIT, Guwahati. 

AGE Below 35 years as on July 20th, 2018 (Can be relaxed for meritorious candidates) 

EMOLUMENT As per DBT/DST guidelines 

DURATION Three years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier. Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview and only those who are successful in the written test will be interviewed.
