Applications are invited for Project assistant level-II/III (PA II/III) to work in the research project entitled ‘Generation of energy from microalgal feedstock through CO2 capture from flue gases’
(A) No. of post for PA-II/III: (4 posts) (CSIR, New Delhi, Sponsored Project).
(1 Post) Biotechnology (PA-III)
Salary: Rs. 28000/- p.m. (fixed)
Essential qualifications-
M.Sc. in Biotechnology with at least 55% marks along with 2 years of experience.
Desirable: Candidates having research experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
Job Requirement: Competence in utilization of microalgal biomass for biofertilizer applications.
(2 Post) Microbiologist (PA-II)
Salary: - Rs. 25000/- p.m. (fixed)
Essential qualifications-
(1 Post) M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Environmental Science with at least 55% marks.
Desirable: Candidates having research experience will be preferred.
Job Requirement: Competence in maintenance of microalgal cultures, microalgal cultivation, environmental parameter analysis along with water and Sediment analysis.
(1 Post) Biochemist (PA-II)
Salary: - Rs. 25000/- p.m. (fixed)
Essential qualifications-
(1 Post) M.Sc. in Biochemistry with at least 55% marks.
Desirable: Candidates having research experience will be preferred.
Job Requirement: Competence in analysis of microalgal biomass in terms of fatty acid, protein and pigment profiling.
General Conditions:
Age: Should not be more than 30/35 years for PA-II and PA-III, respectively on September 11, 2018 (Relaxation as per CSIR rules).
CSMCRI is a national research laboratory under CSIR, which is well equipped with research facilities of international standards (website: www.csmcri.res.in).
Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for the positions of Project Assistant Level-II/III, to work in the area of microalgae under a project funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi.
Interested candidates meeting the above requirements may attend the written test followed by walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed biodata, original certificates along with their attested photocopies and a passport size photograph on September, 11, 2018 at 9.30 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G B Marg, Bhavnagar-364002. The selection of candidates will be done by conducting a screening test followed by personal interview of the short listed candidates on the same day.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
