The Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, South Asian University, New Delhi announces hands-on workshop on “Transcript profiling using Real Time PCR” 

November 1-2, 2018 

Objective of the Workshop: This 2-day workshop designed to give an overall idea about using Real Time PCR based gene expression analysis from any biological system. The researchers would get a hands on training on RNA isolation, qualitative and quantitative analysis of RNA, cDNA synthesis, Real Time PCR and data analysis. This workshop is not only designed for those with little or no experience in qRT PCR, but will also benefit researchers who are struggling with this technique. The workshop will also involve classroom teaching, which will cover basics of experimental setup, Primer designing and troubleshooting. 

Registration Fee: 

 Faculties/Research Scholars/PhD students and Post-Doctoral Fellow: 4000 Rs. 
 Faculties/Research Scholars/PhD students and Post-Doctoral Fellow (Other SAARC countries): 60 USD 

Registration is open to Faculty/Research Scholars/ PhD Students from any SAARC country with a Masters degree in any field of Biology. Registration fee covers access to all days of workshop and Lunch. Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. 

Only a limited number of participants will be admitted to the workshop. The admission will be on a rolling basis until all the positions have been filled or until the application deadline of 1st October 2018 has been reached. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation and accommodation.
