Walk-in-interview will be held at CCUBGA (Near B. P. Pal Auditorium), Division of Microbiology, ICARIndian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012 to recruit outstanding personnel for the designated posts to work under DBT and in NASF projects. 1. Prospecting microalgae and cyanobacteria for high value biopigments (Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India)

2. Production and Processing of Microalgal Biomass for Biodiesel and other Industrially Important Co-Products: An Algal Refinery Approach (National Agricultural Science Fund, NASF, Govt. of India) 

Junior Research Fellow

Essential: Minimum 60% marks: Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology or M. Tech Biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree or candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree, should have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET/GATE or Ph. D. in relevant discipline as above (As per ICAR Memorandum No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13thJuly, 2015 and Agrl. Edn./6/27/2014-HRD, dated October 9, 2015. 

Desirable: Experience of working with cyanobacteria and microalgae, cultivation and biochemical characterization with proficiency in computer skills. 

Semiskilled Labour 

Essential: B.Sc. (Ag.) or B.Sc. in Botany/Biology/ Microbiology/Life Science or B. Tech.(Biotechnology) Desirable: Working research experience in the field of Agricultural research , algae and working knowledge on computers documents at the time of interview for verification.
