NIAB Biochemistry/Microbiology SRF Walk IN 2018 August

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad. One position of Senior Research Fellow against the following project:

(i) DBT funded project entitled “To develop novel therapeutics for brucellosis: Identification and characterization of host factors supporting Brucella replication” 

PI: Dr. Girish Radhakrishnan, Scientist-E; (Project Duration - 6 months). 

Essential qualification: Master’s Degree in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology etc.) with NET qualification. Non-NET candidates can also attend the interview who will be paid as per their eligibility. OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Couse (MVSc, M.Tech in Life Sciences etc.). 

Experience: Minimum 2 years of research experience. Candidates with less than 2 years of research experience can also attend the interview who will be paid as per their eligibility. Candidate having previous work experience in the areas of Biochemistry, Immunology and microbiology are preferred. 

(iii) Fellowship amount: Rs.28000/-PM+30% HRA = 36,400/- PM as per the DST guidelines. 

(iv) Age: 35 years Interested candidates fulfilling the above criteria may attend the walk-in interview on 12 September 2018 at 10 AM with a photograph and copies of documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience certificates etc.
