Re-advertisement for the position of “JRF/Project
fellow” in DST-SERB funded Project
Applications on plain paper are invited for the 01 position of JRF/Project fellow in
DST-SERB funded Research Project entitled “Engineering of the probiotic yeast
Saccharomyces boulardii for human therapeutics ...... . ” under the supervision of
Dr Narendra Kumar Bairwa, Principal Investigator at Department of Biotechnology,
SMVDU Katra.
The duration of the project is 03 years and the position is purely temporary
and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
Essential qualifications and Remuneration: JRF @25000/-PM fixed for 1st two years and
@28000/-PM fixed for 3rd year (Candidates should be with P.G in Basic Sciences with
NET qualification or Graduate degree in professional courses with NET qualification or
Post Graduate degree in professional courses), Otherwise salary will be fixed on
@Rs.16000 + 20% HRA/PM.
Desirable qualification: Working experience with the Yeast genetic manipulation and
culturing is desired however it is not mandatory.
