Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Aquaculture (RGCA), a society of Marine Products Export
Development Authority (MPEDA) proposes to conduct walk-in-interview for the selection of
Trainees at the Vallarpadam(Cochin), Aquaculture complex of MPEDA. Candidates meeting
with the specified eligibility criteria and interested to get trained in various hatchery/
nursery/grow-out operations of various finfish/ shellfish species may submit their application
through e-mail to admnrgca@gmail.com (latest by 10/10/2018 up to 05.30 p.m.) and may attend
the walk-in-interview at MPEDA Vallarpadam complex with hard copy of application, biodata,
original certificates of educational qualification, age, Original certificate supporting age
relaxation, experience if any and one passport size photograph. At the time of submission of

Educational Qualification B.FSc/M.Sc from a recognized Indian
University in the following stream:
Mariculture/Aquaculture/Marine Biology/
Fishery Biology/Industrial Fisheries/Zoology
Age Limit 27 years as on 01.10.2018
Age relaxation – 3 years for OBC and 5 years
for SC/ST candidates
Experience Previous work experience in Aquaculture is
preferable but not mandatory
Place of work MPEDA Vallarpadam Aquaculture complex,
Cochin
Stipend Rs.23000/= per month
Period of Contract 1 year (may be extendable for one more year
based on the requirement and Performance of
the candidate)
Place of Interview MPEDA Aquaculture complex, Vallarpadam,
Cochin
Reporting Time for Interview 09.00 a.m to 11.00 a.m
Late comers will not be allowed for attending
the interview
