A walk-in interview will be held on 05/10/2018 at 10.00 AM in the Department of Molecular Biology and
Biotechnology for one (01) purely temporary position of Project Fellow in the ONGC-CPBT (TU) sponsored project
entitled “Development of phytoremediation protocol for bioremediation of crude oil contamination”, under the
Principal Investigator Dr. Tapas Medhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Molecular Biology & Biotechnology,
Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam - 784028, Assam.
Essential Qualifications: MSc. degree in Life Sciences/Biosciences/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, MSc. (Agri),
MVSc
(Desirable – research experience in Enzymology/Protein Chemistry/Bioremediations).
Stipend: Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees sixteen thousand) only + admissible HRA per month for the candidates having
NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualification. Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees twelve thousand) only + admissible HRA for other
candidates (Non-NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified).
Duration: Up to 31/03/2019 or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.
Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed
as per Government of India rules.
