Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow
(JRF) under DST-SERB Funded Project
Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates to work in a
SERB-DST, Govt of India, sponsored research project entitled ‘An
approach towards investigating the interplay between microRNA
122 and AEG-1 protein in colon cancer progression’.
Principal investigator: Dr Surajit Pathak, Associate Professor,
FAHS, CARE, Chennai.
Eligibility Essential qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Life
Science or related subjects with a minimum First
Class grade.
Essential eligibility: Those who have qualified
any NET-JRF/LS, SET, GATE or any related
exam for joining JRF.
Age limit Must not be more than 28 years as on closing
date of application. (Relaxation as per the norms/
orders of GoI).
Duration 3 years or till the completion of the project
Fellowship @ Rs 28,600 per month
Other The selected candidate eligible to register for full
time Ph.D. degree at CARE, Chennai as per the
eligibility criteria of the Institute.
