Presidency Kolkata Plant Molecular Biology JRF Walk IN


Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for two JRF positions in a DBT, New Delhi approved Project entitled "Screening of Indian bamboo germplasms to identify elite genotypes having superior lignocellulosic composition, their ex situ conservation and characterization of the candidate genes” in the Laboratory of Dr. Malay Das, Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, kolkata. 

Salary: As per funding agency (UGC/CSIR/DBT, Govt. of India) rules and regulations 

Essential Qualification: The candidate must have good academic record with first class Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences from recognized University and preferably have qualified UGC/CSIR/DBT- NET with own fellowship or at least NET (LS). 

Desirable Qualification: Research interests/experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and basic knowledge in Plant Biology 

Selection Process: Only those fulfilling the above criteria may apply through email at malay.dbs@presiuniv.ac.in and shortlisted applicants will be called for interview. The time of the interview will be subsequently communicated to the shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the interview.

Date of interview: 15/01/2019 (Tuesday) 

Shortlisted candidates should report 30 minutes before the schedule time of interview & submit the following documents:- Two separate sets of: 1.
