Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Design and perform various experiments, analysis, data interpretation and presentation.
• Interaction with senior and junior members of the research unit.
• Interaction with other subject experts, graduate, undergraduate students
• Involvement in primary molecular biological assays both in vitro and in vivo experimental model (animal studies, tissue culture, qRT-PCR, immunoblotting, biochemical and cellular parameters analysis using diverse techniques, etc.).
Position Requirements
This position requires a Ph.D. in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology), or related field. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in animal tissue culture, proteomics and genomics research. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in animal tissue culture, molecular analyses of gene expression, and designing biochemical and cell assays to measure target engagement or modulation. A record of productivity, as supported by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, is essential (at least one publication in SCI or SCI-E indexed Scientific Journal with Impact factor).
Strong written/verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to work with minimal supervision within a supportive team environment.
We are looking for the suitable candidates only from Tamilnadu, India.
Salary Competitive salary commensurate with research experience and other suitable skills (Initial salary range 13,000 to 15,000 INR).
