Project: “Recombinant endolysins from mycobacteriophages: exploring their anti-Mycobacterial potential” (EMR_2017_004051).

Essential Qualifications for the post: Master’s degree in Life Science or related subjects with 55% or above marks and with NET/GATE qualification*.
Desirable Experience: Practical knowledge of basic microbiological techniques, protein purification, recombinant DNA technology, enzyme assay & kinetics and bioinformatics methods (for genome analysis).
Age limit: Upper age limit 28 years, relax able for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per Government of India rule.
Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA.
* In case suitable candidate is not found for the post, then the fellowship for the non-NET/GATE qualified candidates would be: Rs.16,000/- per month plus HRA
Duration: Initially for one year, extendable to two more years based on performance. Fellowship is co-terminus with the project (October, 2021).
Please note: Candidate may also be considered by the PI for registration for PhD program with University of Delhi.
