Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on
the following project sponsored by BRNS, under the supervision of Prof. Ramakrishna Vadrevu,
Department of BIological Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.

Eligibility requirements A First class Degree in
(i) M.Sc Life Sciences or NanoScience or Biotechnology,
(ii) ME/M.Tech Biotechnology with First Division (60%) or equivalent CGPA. Students with B.Tech
Biotechnology degree may be considered based on the credentials/experience/suitability/ etc. Candidates should
ideally posses lab skills/industrial (R&D) exposure, strong background in cloning, molecular biology, protein
expression and purification.
Experience with Protein modeling techniques/software, Handling FPLC/HPLC and other
analytical instruments such as UV-Vis Fluorescence and Circular Dichroism spectrophotometers will be a plus.
CSIR-UGC NET (including LS); GATE, Biotechnology Eligibility Test, JEST, JGEEBILS, NBHM Ph.D. scholarship
screening test/ICMR JRF Entrance Examination/ICAR qualified candidates may be preferred.
A background in
Chemistry at undergraduate level is highly desirable.

fulfillment of the requirements of the institute.
