Applications are invited for the position of one JRF for DST-SERB sponsored R & D project
entitled “Development and characterization of simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers in
Clitoria ternatea (L.) and mapping of loci controlling taraxerol and Delphinidin
content”.
Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc. Biotechnology/ Bioscience/ Life Sciences (Plant)/ Plant
Sciences/ Botany/ Agriculture Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade
and NET/GATE or equivalent exam. qualified as per DST- SERB guidelines (No. SB/S9/Z01/2015, Dated. 07.01.2015).
Age Limit: 28 years (Maximum); Relaxation in the upper age limit/educational qualifications
is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC as per DST-SERB, Government of India rules.
Project tenure: Three years (2018-2021)
Fellowship: 25,000/- pm + HRA admissible as per DST-SERB rules.

Note: The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned project.
The services of the selected candidate will be governed by the rules/regulations of Khallikote
