Candidates are invited for appearing in Walk-in-Interview for the following posts under the DBT
sponsored project ““Earthworm Gut Microbes Mediated Carcinogenic Polycyclic Aromatic
Hydrocarbons (CPAHs) Remediation In Contaminated Soil” vide sanction order
BT/PR25738/NER/95/1329/2017 dated 24.12.2018, sanctioned up to three years. The post is
temporary and co-terminus with the project.
1. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow

Qualification:
'
i) M.Sc. 1st class in Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Chemistry/Environmental Sciences
from a recognized university with a good knowledge in microbial techniques,
ii) Having good publication in peer reviewed journals with SCI index.
iii) NET/ GATE/ SET or completed coursework for PhD selected through Research Eligibility Test
following UGC guidelines.
iv) Having minimum 55% marks and at least one-year research experience.
Pay and allowances: Rs. 25,000 + 10% HRA(I and II year) Rs. 28000 + 10% HRA (III
year)(Consolidated)
Interested and eligible candidates may attend the interview to be held at the Principal’s
Office, Siksha-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan, on 4th February 2019 at 10.30 am
along with:
