Walk-In-Interview will be conducted for following purely project based temporary positions at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. The candidate with adequate qualifications and appropriate experience in relevant subject/specialization with good academic records may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 11 February, 2019 (10:00 A.M. Onwards). 

Candidates appearing for Interview should bring original copies (with xerox copy) of testimonials, biodata, publications etc along with an application. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the Interview.

1. Junior Project Fellow (01 No.) 

Rs. 16,000/- p.m. +HRA 

Upper Age Limit - 28 Years* 

First class Masters degree in RS & GIS and allied subjects with Botany/Forestry at Bachelor Level Or First Class Master Degree in Botany/Forestry 

Understanding of Himalayan Forests and Vegetation types

DST NMSHE funded Task Force-5 project entitled “Network Programme on Convergence of Traditional Knowledge Systems for Sustainable Development in the Indian Himalayan Region” 

1. Junior Research/ Project Fellow (01 No.) @ Rs. 25,000/ month +HRA (NET-JRF/GATE qualified candidates); @ Rs. 16,000/- month +HRA (for others) 

Upper Age Limit - 28 Years* 

Project Duration: Likely to be 1 year 

First Class Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/ Environmental Sciences/ Geography/ Indigenous knowledge systems 

Physically fit to work in the Himalayan Mountains Field Research, data base development, data analysis and report writing/ presentation
