Going Abroad for Studies? Registration Made Compulsory with Indian Authorities

Government will soon make registration compulsory for students seeking higher studies in foreign countries. This guideline is proposed in the ‘Emigration Bill’ drafted by the Ministry of External Affairs. 

Also ‘Emigration Management Authority’ will be formed to ensure the safety and welfare of those migrating to other countries. 

This Bill is being introduced in the wake of security concern in times of civil wars and other issues abroad, MEA said.
