International Centre for Genetic ICGEB Engineering and Biotechnology
One Research Associate (RA) and one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions
are available at Microbial Engineering Group for an industry sponsored project
to work on genome engineering of fungal isolates for overproduction of
cellulolytic enzymes.
The project is funded for the duration of 2 years, with likely extension of 1 more
year based on the progress.
Research Associate (1 Position) – The incumbent should have a PhD degree in the area of biotechnology, molecular biology or related field with experience in various molecular biology techniques.
Expertise in fungal or yeast molecular biology will be of added advantage.
Salary – Rs. 46,800 PM inclusive of all allowances.
Junior Research Fellow (1 Position) – The incumbent should have a M.Sc. degree in biotechnology or related area.
Candidate with experience in molecular biology and/or fermentation technology will be preferred.
Salary – Rs. 32,000 PM inclusive of all allowances.
