Walk in Interviews for the eligible candidates for the following temporary positions under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MOEF & CC) Govt. of India funded project “Long Term Conservation of Hangul: Hangul Movement Pattern Studies using GPS-Satellite Telemetry” & SERB, Department of Science & Technology (DST) Government of India funded Project entitled “Study on Waterfowl Ecology, Migratory patterns and disease monitoring in the Wetlands of Kashmir Valley.” is scheduled to be held in the Division of Wildlife Sciences, Faculty of Forestry, SKUAST-Kashmir Benhama Campus on March 10th 2019 at 11 A.M. 



Project No.1 “Long Term Conservation of Hangul: Hangul Movement Pattern Studies using GPS-Satellite Telemetry” 

1. Junior Research Fellow JRF (01) 

First Class M.Sc in Wildlife Sciences/ MVSc. Wildlife Sciences/ M.Sc Forestry OR First Class post graduation in the Zoology with one year work experience in the Wildlife field NET Qualified candidates would be preferred. 

Rs.25000 +HRA For NET qualified Rs. 16000 (Consolidated) for Non-NET candidates 

24-37 years 

Project No.2 “Study on Waterfowl Ecology, Migratory patterns and disease monitoring in the Wetlands of Kashmir Valley.” 

1. Junior Research Fellow JRF (02) 

First Class M.Sc in Wildlife Sciences/ MVSc. Wildlife Sciences/ M.Sc Forestry OR First Class post graduation in the Zoology with one year work experience in the Wildlife field NET Qualified candidates would be preferred. 

Rs.25000 +HRA For NET qualified Rs. 16000 (Consolidated) for Non-NET candidates 

24-37 years 

2. Field/Technical Assistant (01) 

Post graduation in Wildlife Sciences /Forestry OR M.Sc. in Zoology with experience in wildlife Candidates having some wildlife field experience shall be preferred. 

Rs. 10,000 (Consolidated) 

24-37 years 

The applicants along with the application, brief bio-data and necessary documents in support of the candidate’s eligibility shall reach the above said Venue on the scheduled date March 10th 2019 at 10 AM for walk in interview for the above said positions under the project. The positions are temporary for a period of 06 months and co-terminus with the project and the appointee shall not have any claim for absorption in the University. The selected candidates shall have to remain stationed at the respective field stations under the project.
